The Gray Iron Sand Casting is produced by melting cast iron and pig iron in the furnace at high temperatures. The molten metal is poured in this casting to attain a specific shape and size. After getting cooled, molded product is taken out of this casting to allow easy installation in the machinery or automobiles. Extreme temperature and impacts on this casting do not affect its quality, reliability and durability. The casting can be re-used by molding it in a new shape to avoid material wastage.
